What can I say? Ted tracked me down in a local supermarket after seeing my Stang in the parking lot. We talked Mustangs for about 15 minutes while I was holding a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk. With such an enthusiastic Club President, I felt I had to hook up with this club.

My ride is a 2006 Mustang GT Convertible Automatic Premium, Black on Black. I'll post some pictures soon.

This is my 5th Mustang and I am very pleased with this edition -- best convertible I've ever owned. It is my daily driver. I only drive ragtops with American muscle.

I've made a few mods to it so far:

Performance:
Steeda CAI
FRRP 4.10 gears
Transgo Shift Kit
PI 9.5" Stallion Torque Converter 3600 Stall
Dynatech Supermaxx Long Tube Headers, Fast Cats, and X Pipe
Flowmaster American Thunder Axle Backs
Tune by Brian Bassone at ELD

Appearance:
American Racing Billet 18x9 (Front) and 18x10 (Rear) Rims
Suncoast Ram Air KR Style Hood
Eleanor Grille
HID lights
Clear lenses with Stealth bulbs on front and sides
A bunch of chrome stuff

Other:
Pioneer Avic Z2 Head Unit w/ JLA component speakers
DMH Performance Dual Electric Exhaust Cutouts

I've meant to stop by the Turtle on Tuesdays lately, but it seems to always be raining. I'll drop in on the next dry evening.

I really enjoyed my first Turtle experience. There are some amazing Mustangs in the club. I'll try to take part in many activities in the future.

The pictures Ted took turned out really well.

Thanks again for making me feel welcome!

I had the shift kit installed at the same time as the torque converter by ELD. I figured as long as the transmission was apart, the stock springs could be replaced by something a little heavier.
